Just got back from the Windsor International Film Festival where we had a terrific screening of A Different Drummer.
If anything, the film received even more laughs than it did during its premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival. John Ward, the mad British inventor and loony Lord Toby Jug, a British politician, were easily the stars of the show in the laugh department as well as the animations.
As always, I had a wonderful time at the Windsor festival where they treat filmmakers like kings. A big thanks to Mori Mcintosh, and especially Mark Boscariol and Brian Snow, who provided Annie [John's wife] and I with a memorable tour of Detroit. And thank you to all our new Windsor friends.
